Since 2000 Microsoft has based its middleware strategy around .NET. Microssoft .NET has been through several iterations, but the most significant version was .NET 3.0 unveiled in 2005. This structured the architecture into several pillars: the Windows Presentation Foundation user interface system; the Windows Workflow Foundation, used for workflow integration; and Windows Cardspace, its identity management system.
Microsoft .NET is a set of software technologies from Microsoft for connecting information, people, systems and devices. The technology is based on Web services - small building-block applications that can connect to each other as well as to other, larger applications over the Internet. For us, the big advantage of .NET is that many components needed for our solutions already exist in the .NET Framework. This means we can quickly, efficiently and most important for our customers, cost-effectively deliver our solutions.
Our Microsoft Certified application developers use .NET to build multiple user solutions which enable our customers to sell on the web, to deliver information to their customers, to deliver new services and to respond to market and competitive pressures.
