The automotive industry is a tough industry to make a profit. Decoma Sybex Interiors, part of the Magna Corporation, always need to be looking at ways of reducing costs, cutting down manufacturing time and eliminating wasteful and error prone processes. Working with Decoma people, Modcomp designed and built a mobile application which significantly reduced errors during the manufacture of sills for the BMW mini series - one of Decoma's most important customers. The application ran the Windows Mobile Server software and it was this application which enabled Modcomp to achieve its Microsoft Mobility Solutions compentency.
