Natural England today launched its new web site with the help of Modcomp's web development team
On Sunday 1 October Natural England, the integrated countryside and land management agency, was formally established.
Natural England brings together English Nature, with parts of the Countryside Agency and the Rural Development Service.
As part of the transition to Natural England, the web sites of the three original organisations had to be combined. Two important services provided on the English Nature web site were developed by Modcomp - Protected Species Licensing and Land Purchase Grant application processing.
Working to tight timescales, Modcomp updated these applications to ensure that they were ready for the launch of the new Natural England web site.
David Richardson, Electronic Services Support Manager, commented, “we would like to thank the Modcomp team for working to a tight deadline and for helping to make the rebranding from English Nature to Natural England happen on time and to schedule.”
