At the recent eWorld Purchasing and Supply Conference held at London’s Connaught Rooms, Modcomp hosted a presentation entitled “Supplier Portals – or how to get your suppliers to work harder!”
A supplier portal is a single web site which acts as a doorway to all the services and information a vendor needs to conduct business with an enterprise or organisation.
Based on real life case studies, Modcomp explained the benefits of Supplier Portals, the challenges in implementing them; and the implications for the commercial arrangements with your suppliers.
Attended by over 100 purchasing and supply managers, the presentation was described as “very concise interesting and useful” by one delegate.
