Modcomp delivers SharePoint project for Presentation Housing Association.
In October 2008, following a competitive tender process, Modcomp was awarded a contract to assist Presentation Housing Association to migrate its intranet to Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007. Modcomp was tasked with assisting with the implementation of the SharePoint and SQL Server software; the design of the site and the migration of documents from Presentation's current office servers.
Modcomp successfully completed the project in March 2009. Martin Pickett, Head of IT at Presentation said "With Modcomp’s help we now have access to a document management system which means that paperwork is filed in a logical and structured way and can be located and accessed quickly".
Presentation Housing Association was founded and incorporated as an industrial provident society in 1968, the organisation was originally known as Eagle Housing Trust. In 1976 the company registered with the Housing Corporation in 1976 and changed its name to Presentation Housing Association in 1977.
Presentation, along with its subsidiaries, Ajanta, Olmec and Touareg, make up the Presentation Group. The Group is active in London and the Luton, Bedford and Medway Corridors, providing homes for 20,000 residents.
