2008

Modcomp renews Microsoft Gold Partnership; Moves to new offices in Wokingham.

2007

Modcomp awarded Microsoft Gold Certified Partnership.

2006

Modcomp achieves Microsoft certified compentency in delivering Mobility solutions based on the Windows Mobile operating system.

2005

Modcomp becomes a Microsoft Partner accredited with the special competancy of Custom Development Solutions. To achieve this, Modcomp had to demonstrate that we have a team of Microsoft Certified Application Developers, and references where Modcomp has delivered solutions using Microsoft technolgies.

2003

Modcomp sets up Microsoft practice.  OpenXport introduced to provide a Java-based message broker for high volume messaging requirements.

2002

Acquisition of Sipher Ltd., enhancing Modcomp's capabilities in integrated messaging solutions (MOM)

2001

Partnership agreement with BT Ignite to sell collaborative IT solutions to BT clients.

2000

ViewMax V5.0 is released. Includes functionality for remote front-end devices – Palm 7.0, WAP Phones, Interactive TV.

1999

ViewMax V4.0 is released. Additional server platforms include HP 3000, IBM RS 6000 and Linux.

1998

ViewMax V3.0 is released. Includes Java terminal emulation module, EDI connectivity.

1997

Partner Agreement with NTT Europe to promote and sell ViewMax.

1996

Modcomp established systems integration business.  ViewMax Version 1.0 is announced - Modcomp’s unique UNIX web to host integration software. Modcomp provides application integrated solutions Modcomp is awarded ISO 9001 certification.

1989

Modcomp introduces REAL/IX, the industry's first fully pre-emptive, real-time, UNIX System V.X operating system.

1988

Modocmp introduces the CLASSIC 9200 Series of computers, with the 9230 and 9250 models.

1983

Modcomp introduces ViewTracs – Videotext runtime and development server package to allow VT terminals to connect to IBM mainframe applications. Major sales to BA, P&O, Qantas, KLM announced.

1980

On line Private Viewdata network rolled out by LSE. TOPIC becomes first electronic share price information service in UK.

1979

Delivery of first real time computer systems to London Stock Exchange.

1974

Modcomp sales and service office established in Frimley, Surrey.
